The date for the Second Annual Blog Meet has changed from the last week in November to Saturday, November 8th to November 15th.

Other important changes:

1. There will be a mini-blog meet in Scotland on November 9th in Edinburgh. The contact for this blog meet will be GilraenH.

2. The grand bloggity finale will be held November 15th in England at a city/town of the bloggers choice. You get to decide where it will be held. Some suggestions are Nottingham, Plymouth, Leeds, Exeter, York, Birmingham, Cardiff, Bristol, Gloucester, Ipswich, Leicester, Cambridge, Northampton, Peterborough and Norwich. Please note that this list in not exclusive, other places can be suggested and remember that the majority rules.

I will run a poll for the top five suggestions over the next few weeks.

Other important information:

I believe that consistency is important and would like to build a tradition of mini-blog meets to be held during the week of the BCUK Bloggity Meets. Therefore, a blog meet will continue to be held in Brighton, London, Manchester and Liverpool. Details to follow soon.

The Second Annual BCUK Blog Meet shall be held during the week of November 22, 2008 to November 29, 2008 with the final bloggity meet held on Saturday, November 29, 2008. This will ensure that as many bloggers as possible can attend the finale.

The first Annual BCUK Blog Meets was a smash!

Details will be made public about the Second Annual BCUK Blog Meet shortly.

In just a few days, the First Annual BCUK Blog Meet begins. From November 24th to December 1, 2007, I will be visiting BCUK bloggers from one end of England to the other.

There will be four blog meets during this time: London Blog Meet, Brighton Blog Meet, Manchester Blog Meet and the grand finale, the Liverpool Blog Meet.

BCUK is flying in one of their own to attend the Liverpool Blog Meet. We will be able to meet, drink and be merry with BCUK's representative, Rampage.

For bloggers wishing to attend one of the blog meets, you can get the details on each blog as noted above.

We are about to make BCUK history, so let's have a fabulous time!

I, MenoMama, hereby declare that the last week in November of each year, beginning in the year of our Blog Lords 2007, be known as BCUK et al's Annual Blog Meet.

I wanna turn this annual event into something like this.

This declaration is purely the brain fart wave of me, MenoMama, who truly believes that meeting the people you blog with enriches your life and allows you to get smashing drunk.
